What are teacher requirements?

  • no education, no experience, no need to actually know what you’re doing.
  • have a computer or phone.

How much you can earn?

Cambly’s rate of $0.17/minute actually paid an average of $8.50/hour.

best choise if you

  • Are looking to publish your book quickly and cheaply.
  • Are just starting out and have not a lot of name recognition.

bad choise if you

  • Need to have a professional publicists and marketing team to assist you.
  • Already have large reader base.

KDP can be a great trampoline to success, but if you want get better results you should follow these simple rules.

How to boost your eBook sales?

rule

If all the text is written in a terrible font, or it’s full of syntax errors, people won’t want to read your book.

To look good in all Kindle devices you need to format and save your book in a Kindle-friendly file-type like .mobi or .epub. When it’s done, don’t forget to proofread the book with a Kindle or on the Kindle app.

A do-it-yourself approach will save you some money, but if you’re not very tech-savvy and want to make sure the book is formatted properly, you can find hundreds of freelancers on Fiverr who can do it for you.

Your book cover should have:

  1. A clear, legible title. Most of your potential buyers will see your cover as a thumbnail first. Avoid small, hard-to-read letters and scribbly fonts.
  2. A design that stands out. Whether it stands out through a bold color or an interesting graphic, you want your cover to catch the eye.

You’re better off handing this responsibility over to someone else, unless you’re a professional cover designer.
You can always hire someone from Fiverr to do it for you.

Readers will want to know exactly what your book is about and how it’ll benefit them. Your description shouldn’t inform potential buyers of the contents of your book — it should persuade them to buy.

Here are a few tips to help you write a good description:

  • Use captivating headlines
  • Use different text formats (orange headers, bold text, italicized text, etc.)
  • Include your keywords in the headers and in the paragraphs
  • Include some testimonials
  • Tell them to buy it! Include a call to action

If your description is flabby and packed with weak writing, it won’t be compelling enough for readers to click the buy button.

The key thing to understand when writing your book description is that you should treat it like a sales letter.

Amazon is a search engine. People search for products that they are interested in buying.

For example, if someone is looking for a book that will teach them how to start a blog, they will probably type the keywords “how to start a blog” into Amazon’s search bar.

You want the people who are looking for your book to find it, so you need to identify which keywords they are most likely going to use to do so. Including the keywords that your target market is most likely going to use in the title of your book will help position your book as the solution to their problem.

Give your book away for free to as many people as you can and ask them to review it.

Ebooks with published reviews and real testimonials from various ebook stores or your readers tend to get more attention and interest

People are more inclined to buy a product when they know that other people have already bought that product and enjoyed it.

Here’s a good strategy for your book’s launch week (to get 100+ sales):

  •     Set the price at 99 cents for the first week.
  •     Run a 99 cent promotion with sites like Buck Books and Robin Reads.
  •     Post a book excerpt on a relevant subreddit and link it to your book page at the end.
  •     Post 1-2 guest posts during the launch week that link back to your book page.
  •     Blast your email list multiple times.
  •     By the end of the week, hopefully, your book has eclipsed the top 5,000 or 10,000 overall paid ranking. From there, raise the price to $2.99, and continue raising the price $1 at a time every few days until it stops selling (then, lower it back by a dollar). This will tell you the optimal price for your book.

Writing a book is not the end. You only did 40 percent of the work. The other 60 percent is marketing.

If you know nothing about marketing, you can join affiliate programs.

Affiliate marketing is one of the best marketing solution. You can read more about affiliate marketing here.

There you can learn more about sites like Click Bank which can help you market your ebook better.

Here are a few tips for writing a book:

tip
  • Validate the book by giving a survey to friends, an email list, and/or survey sites like Pickfu. By validating your idea before you write the book, you’ll improve the odds of people willing to buy your book (and you’re not wasting your time by writing it.)
  • Create an outline and stick to it if possible.
  • Set aside at least 30 minutes to an hour each day to write.
  • Format the book according to Amazon’s standards.
  • Once the book is written and formatted, you can head over to KDP.amazon.com. Log in with your Amazon account, then under “Create a New Title”, select “Kindle eBook.”

And now it’s time to talk about my most favorite way to make money by teaching others.

Create Website / Blog

All of the above are great ways to make money by sharing your knowledge. But if your goal is to make big money, your priority must be to build your own brand and invest in it.

website picture

Just think, What are worth courses uploaded to Udemy, or books to KDP compared to courses which advertised on your website, blog, Youtube and other social networks? And what if you buy paid advertisements and reach thousands of people who are interested in your courses? Maybe they haven’t even heard of things like Udemy or KDP, and ads are probably the only way they can be reached.

This is where the difference comes. Because promoting your own courses on your own website/blog, means that you promote your brand also. As well, your courses can be sold at a higher price, because you don’t have to pay taxes to others. Click here if you want find out the easiest and cheapest ways how to create your website?

More traffic on your website means bigger profit also. It allows you to start promoting affiliate products that are relevant to yours courses and get paid for it. Sounds good? You can read more about affiliate marketing here.

What if you don’t want to create your website?

You can always choose to write articles in exchange for payment. There are many magazines and high-end websites who are willing to pay for your content. Some pay by the page view and others offer a flat fee.

One of the easiest ways to start getting orders for writing articles is to sign up for Fiverr and create a gig.
